Don’t try to manage your or someone else’s suicidal thoughts on your own. Remember, thoughts about suicide are just that – thoughts. They won’t last forever and often they pass quickly. Many people who have had serious thoughts about suicide have said that they feel completely different only hours later.

" You alone can do it, but you cannot do it alone" Working in the area of mental health for over fifty years GROW has developed a proven programme for mental health. Grow promotes wellbeing through a set 12 step programme, focused on RECOVERY.

This is achieved by weekly 2-hour meetings based in the Community where members are offered support and encouragement to take personal responsibility, develop leadership and learn new ways of coping, thinking and living.

Meetings take place: Monday 2-4pm (except bank holidays) at Ballybot House, 28 Corn Market, Newry.
