About the service

The Rainbow Project provides a range of health and wellbeing services to LGBTQIA+ people across Northern Ireland, as well as those who are questioning their identity.

At first point of contact, we invite individuals for a health and wellbeing assessment to gauge their needs and consider which support is most suitable. If needed the Rainbow Project can refer individuals into one or more of our services, including:

  • LGBTQIA+ Co-cultural Counselling
  • Hate Crime Support & Advocacy
  • LGBTQIA+ Cancer Support
  • Sexual Health Testing
  • Rainbow Youth
  • LGBTQIA+ Ethnic Minorities Support & Advocacy
  • Referral/signposting to other organisations as appropriate
