About the service

AWARE is the depression Charity for Northern Ireland. They have a network of 23 support groups, across the country, run by trained volunteers. These welcome people with depression and bipolar disorder and carers for people with the illness. 

AWARE deliver Information Outreach sessions and attend community events. They deliver mental health and well-being programmes into communities, schools, colleges, universities and workplaces. These programmes include Mood Matters, Living Life to the Full, Mental Health First Aid and Mindfulness. 

AWARE organise fundraising events in schools and communities.
