Foyle Womens Aid Services

About the service

Foyle Womens Aid is a charity based in Derry ~ Londonderry, Northern Ireland. Foyle Womens Aid exist to eliminate domestic abuse and sexual violence, through raising awareness, preventive educational advice and support. Support is offered for women, friends, family members and men. 

Domestic abuse and sexual violence services cover Derry~Londonderry, Strabane, Limavady and Dungiven. 

Services offered: 

Accommodation service - Offers secure, supported, short term accommodation at confidential locations for women or women and their children who have to leave their homes for their own safety due to domestic violence.

Children and young people - Work to meet the needs of children and young people who have experienced domestic violence and offers a number of programmes tailored to them.

Community Support Service - Foyle Women’s Aid believes that no-one should suffer domestic abuse and offers a free, specialist service to women in the Foyle, Limavady and Strabane areas.

Court Support Service - This service aims to help you if you have to attend court by giving you information and support. Foyle Women’s Aid can provide a number of services to assist you in court.

Criminal Justice Service - Criminal Justice workers provide a quick response to victims of domestic violence in need of immediate safety and protection measures.
